A native of Connecticut who also makes her home in Winter Park, Florida, Brenda Byers started singing professionally at age 13. The former Physical Education and Drama major began acting, performing on stage and in television, including the afternoon soap General Hospital. She followed this with an active musical career performing in supper clubs throughout the world. During this time she was selected from over 900 hopefuls to travel throughout the states as "Miss Pepsi." Brenda became a regular on the Arthur Godfrey Show for three years until it's final year in 1973 and has appeared on many of the top television network talk shows including The Tonight Show, Hee Haw, David Frost, Mike Douglas and Joey Bishop.

Brenda has recorded seven albums. Her first recordings were jazz and pop. She then recorded in Nashville and that's when she had several country hits: "The Auctioneer," "Empty," "Wear My Shoes," "Homeward Bound," and "Photographs." "Thank You For Loving Me" topped the charts in the States and Australia, prompting Brenda to spend several months in Sydney and Melbourne performing on stage and in television. She's also entertained in the Far East, the Middle East, South America, the Islands and throughout Europe.

Brenda has earned the reputation as a top convention talent, appearing as a headliner or with people such as Bob Hope, George Burns, Wayne Newton, the Smothers Brothers, Phyllis Diller, Rich Little, Jerry Van Dyke and the Oakridge Boys. Entertaining throughout the states and internationally she has received rave reviews. The news media has called her "a once in a lifetime entertainer," "a performer who shines with contagious warmth," "absolutely fantastic with a charm that registers 100 on the personality meter," and "she's what entertainment's all about.”

Her dynamic show moves quickly from a medley of hits to a country guitar, from a showtune to Dixieland banjo, to comedy for every age and taste. The standing ovations that accompany her appearances are a tribute to her ability to keep an audience spellbound and asking for her again and again.
