Orlando Sanchez is a virtuoso professional musician in the area of ethnic percussion. Currently working for a world beat percussion band at one of Central Florida's leading theme parks, he entertains thousands of listeners daily with his fiery and impressive abilities. As leader of the group Akangana, he leads the way in bringing to Central Florida audiences the finest in tropical and authentic Latin music. Akangana was featured as guest/house band in the summer of 2000 on the national television program "Emeril Live". Orlando can be heard weekly performing all the percussion instruments for the new nationally televised Nickelodeon program "Taina".
